Meet Robert A. Marshall

Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer

Robert Marshall joined the executive team as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer in early 2022. In his role, he leads the Bank’s credit function, overseeing credit risk management, credit approval, and credit analysis, all while ensuring the overall quality of the Bank’s lending portfolio.  

Mr. Marshall is a veteran San Diego County community banker with over 30 years of experience. During his career, he has held positions of increasing responsibility at several San Diego banking institutions, including Rancho Santa Fe National Bank, La Jolla Bank & Trust, and California Community Bank, where he served as that bank’s founding Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer from 2001 to 2012, and as President and Chief Credit Officer from April 2012 to the bank’s successful sale on November 30, 2012. His most recent association was with the Bank of Southern California as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer/Chief Lending Officer from December 2012 to February 2022.
