Nathan Rogge is the President and CEO of First Pacific Bank. He joined the company on December 22, 2021, with more than 30 years of banking experience.
Most recently Mr. Rogge held the position of President and CEO at Bank of Southern California. He was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer in 2006 and was named President and CEO in 2008. During his time at Bank of Southern California, he was instrumental in growing the bank organically, as well as through a total of seven acquisitions, including the 2018 acquisition of Los Angeles-based Americas United Bank and the 2020 acquisition of Orange County-based CalWest Bank. Additionally, he successfully expanded the bank from one location with $38 million in assets, to twelve locations with $1.7 billion in assets.
Nathan began his career in 1991 as a teller for Wells Fargo Bank. Following which he has served in a variety of roles for regional banks, including First National Bank of San Diego and First Republic Bank.
He is recognized as one of the youngest bank CEOs in Southern California and was awarded the 2020 CEO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal and was named a 2018 Most Admired CEO by the San Diego Business Journal.
Nathan participates in several key business-minded associations, often serving in leadership roles. He is actively involved in YPO’s Gold San Diego Chapter, YPO’s CEO Group, and the Director’s Loan Committee for CDC Small Business Finance. Prior associations include, Board Member and Past President of Banker’s Small Business CDC, Vistage CEO organization, and Lead San Diego.
Nathan obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis and is a graduate of the Harvard Executive Management Program.
