Jim Burgess joined the Bank in 2022 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In his position, he is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, capital planning, treasury management, and corporate governance.
Mr. Burgess is a Certified Public Accountant and senior financial professional with 38 years of industry experience, including six years at a national accounting firm. Before joining the Company, Jim was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Bank of Southern California (from 2011 to 2022). Previously, he held similar positions at several well-known San Diego banks, including 1st Pacific Bank of California, Bank of Commerce, Rancho Vista National Bank, and San Diego First Bank.
Mr. Burgess obtained a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
